Therapists at the Centre

PIPPA HAMMOND

Co-Founder, Urmston Therapy Centre

Pippa believes that everyone deserves somewhere they can properly switch off, even for an hour. After sixteen years working in the NHS, she saw first-hand just how much stress people were carrying — staff and patients alike — and felt it herself too. She wanted to create somewhere that felt like a little haven when life feels overwhelming, a space that's genuinely welcoming rather than clinical. That's what led her to co-found Urmston Therapy Centre, alongside Rachel, creating a warm, calming environment where people feel comfortable coming for treatment, and where practitioners have somewhere they're proud to work from.

Pippa has been practising Reflexology since 2018 after training at Contemporary Reflexology College, gaining a Level 5 Diploma in Clinical Reflexology — the highest level of qualification in the UK. She later trained with the London College of Reflexology as a Facial Reflexology Practitioner, and specialises in treating clients with stress, anxiety, and related conditions, women's health, and adults, children and teenagers with ADHD and similar presentations.

She knows what it takes to build a practice from scratch, and that experience shapes how Urmston Therapy Centre is run. This isn't just a room hire arrangement — it's a community, and Pippa is genuinely invested in supporting the practitioners here.

Pippa is a mum of two boys and knows first-hand how rare and restorative it is to have even an hour that's entirely your own. That's exactly why Urmston Therapy Centre exists.
